Children's portfolios:

Your Child's portfolio is available for your viewing - now located in the main activity room. We have recently added a "Parent's / Whanau voice" page, where family members can contribute to the children's portfolio's through stories and photos relating to experiences that happen at home, interests at the time and other meaningful experiences. We encourage you to take your child's portfolio to share with family members and add to at home, if you wish. Please inform a staff member when the portfolio is removed from the Centre.

Reviewing policies and procedures:

The management and staff at Farm Friends Early Childhood Centre are currently drafting or reviewing written policies and procedures to ensure compliance with the Licensing Criteria for Early Childhood Education and Care Centres 2008, and the Early Childhood Education Curriculum Framework. These two documents now from part of the regulatory framework for Early Childhood Educaction (ECE).

At Farm Friends Early Childhood Centre we recognise the importance of working in a partnership and collaborating with parents. To include parent input into our policies and procedures we will be inviting parents to make contributions to these documents by providing written feedback, suggestions, ideas or views that could be considered and included. Look out for theses review forms shortly!

ALLERGIES:

Please remember we have several children allergic to certian foods/ ingredients. We are asking that nuts or nut products are NOT brought into the centre.

Weekly Fees:

Please remember our Fees Payment Practice is full fees paid weekly unless other arangements have been made!
